Award Requirements
Application Deadline:
Due 3rd Tuesday in November to CALS
Purpose: To recognize a College of Agriculture and Life Sciences staff member who has made a creative impact in their position.
Eligibility: Professional and scientific or merit staff who have been employed in CALS for a minimum of one year at the time of the nomination deadline. Recipients must be CALS employees at the time of CALS spring awards ceremony.
Number of Awards: One award.
Amount of Award: $500 one-time stipend.
Submission Guidelines:
- Submit the CALS award cover sheet.
- Submit a nomination letter no longer than three pages that describes a creative impact of the nominee in their professional role. Creative impact may include projects, programs or activities that enhanced student recruitment, retention or success; improved efficiences or effectiveness of their home unit; conceptualized, led or implemented a new program or project; or made important improvements to their unit.
- Submit two additional letters of support. One of the letters, or the nomination letter, must be from the direct supervisor.
- Submit a curriculum vitae not to exceed four pages.
