CALS Faculty Community Excellence Award

Award Requirements

Application Deadline:
Due 3rd Tuesday in November to CALS

Purpose: To recognize a College of Agriculture and Life Sciences faculty member who, through their engagement with students, staff and/or colleagues, have enhanced morale, fostered social connections and promoted a collaborative community for all. 

Eligibility: Tenured, tenure-eligible or term faculty who have been employed in CALS for a minimum of one year at the time of the nomination deadline. Recipients must be CALS employees at the time of the CALS Spring Awards Ceremony.

Number of Awards: One award.

Amount of Award: $500 one-time stipend.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Submit the CALS award cover sheet.
  2. Submit a letter of nomination no longer than three pages that describes the contributions and examples of efforts the nominee has made to enhance morale, foster social connections and promote a collaborative community.
  3. Submit two additional letters of support.
  4. Submit an abbreviated curriculum vita for the nominee, not to exceed four pages.
